Full Teaching Professor in the Department of Computer Science at NC State and a member of the NC State Academy of Outstanding Teachers. She is an experienced CS education researcher with a focus on broadening participation in computing. She has been the Faculty Advisor for WiCS/ACM-W student chapter since 2013 and a 2020/2022 NC State DELTA Faculty Fellow. PI Battestilli will be responsible for designing and running the intervention and supervising graduate student work.
